"A Living Legacy" Dan Fogelberg Tribute Show, Dallas

Eric will join a cast of 20 musicians for a tribute to Dan Fogelberg Show. The show is a benefit for UMCOR, and will feature five separate local guitar players/vocalists, strings, percussion, and many great harmonies. Eric will take the lead on several songs, like "The Last Nail," "Old Tennessee," "To the Morning," and "Same Old Lang Syne," while playing and singing backing vocals on many more songs. Deep Ellum Arts Festival, Dallas

The biggest weekend of the year for the Deep Ellum Entertainment District, this free-to-attend outdoor "street party" features four outdoor stages with non-stop performances by over 65 national, regional, and local original bands during this three-day festival. With more than 100 top-notch juried decorative and visual artists, poetry slams, muralist, the renowned pet parade, and abundant food and drink, the Deep Ellum Arts Festival attracts a diverse audience.

 

Eric will be part of a "songwriters in the round" on the Texas Singer Songwriter Stage. The stage is at the corner of Main Street and Malcom X.

 

April 8, 2006 (approx. 3 pm)

Beanstock Music Festival, Tom Bean, TX

Beanstock is a showcase for independent artists held at the beautiful

rolling hills of Coyote Ridge Ranch just one hour north of Dallas. Over a dozen performing artists and bands will be at this event. Arts and crafts booths as well as food concessions are offered. Camping is available for those wishing to experience the entire weekend. The evenings campfire sessions in the wooded hills are a spiritual retreat from today's busy lifestyle.

 

Tickets are $20/day, and entertainment lasts all day and night. Proceeds this year will be assist the Multiple Sclerosis foundation on behalf of Bill Nash, a local singer/songwriter (and good friend of Eric's) who suffers from MS.

 

May 5, 2006, 7 pm

NDSM Benefit, Dallas

Eric will play this show along with "Jack and the Catdaddies" in this annual benefit show for the North Dallas Shared Ministry. This will be Eric's third year to be a featured performer at the benefit show for this great agency. North Dallas Shared Ministry is an agency providing counsel and advice, food and financial assistance, and some medical care, to persons in North Dallas. Wildflower Festival , Acoustic Cafe, Richardson

Eric will play a brief set on the Acoustic Cafe stage at the Wildflower Music and Arts Festival in Richardson. He'll go on right at 6, and it's a short, set, so don't be late!!!

Coffee House at Spring Valley, Dallas

Spring Valley, the site of the incredibly successful tribute to Dan Fogelberg, invites Eric back as the headliner for this show in their continuing Coffeehouse Series. Details TBA.
